You can bring in a photo into the app (hope it compresses or downsizes the images from the camera roll), and it works well and is intuitive. One problem: when adding a journal entry using the + icon at the bottom, the date chooser is in German (I think).

Have had to purchase three times. Once for iPad and twice for my iPhone 4S and now 6plus. Worse is that it doesnt work well. The map location has to be done manually. Some menus are in German even though I dont have German installed on my phone. I hope this is fixed soon and would love a refund until then

Update October 24: the support team wrote back explaining that to remove the password you have to change it to a blank one. Now this app has nothing wrong with me. I give it 5 stars not only because its really cool and well done, but also because the support team is always there to help. Just as a side note: It would be cool to a add feature that enables users to add a time stamp to each entry individually or to all entries. Update October 23: the picture bug has been fixed. I contacted the support team explaining the issue and they were very fast in answering my e-mail and fixing the issue. Moreover the list of options on the side has been rearranged in a more user-friendly order. ~ Peri italiani: app curata nei dettagli , servizio clienti eccellente.

I love having a place to make a daily entry in a diary. The dictation works great. The best Ive seen. It could be a little more user friendly.

This is the worst app I have ever purchased. I WANT MY MONEY BACK!. There is no calendar, cannot create an entry, Dropbox syncing does not work, cannot change fonts, cannot turn password option off. APPLE THIS APP IS A SHAME. GIVE EVERYONE THEIR MONEY BACK. VERIFY STATED FEATURES BEFORE RELEASING APPS.

How did this make it into the app store?! Dropbox integration doesnt work at all and preferences are blank. Horrible QA.

The ONLY reason I bought this app & its similar one for iPad is so I could go back and forth between them. But iPhone WONT SYNC!! It keeps saying "download failed" I WANT MY MONEY BACK!!!!!! I dont even want to give this one stupid star, but they are making me

This does what its supposed to. It looks just like the inside of my leather BookBook cover so thats pretty neat. I am happy with it.

Can not change the pages, and doesnt wok properly , I delete it & ,,,

This is an unique diary app because it allows you to create digital pages and then export them as a PDF file for backup, emailing and printing, and the pages look exactly as paper pages-I like this feature a lot. The Dropbox backup works flawlessly. You can also create multiple journals such as Diary, Thoughts, Favorite Quotes, etc. If you are a person who likes Moleskine notebooks but want a digital alternative, look no further, this is it.

Instead of journaling, Im writing about how terrible this app is. I also own My Own Diary for iPad, which works fine, and thought itd be nice to have a journal option on my iPhone 5. I find it impossible to believe the developers of this app ever bothered to use it for even one minute. I cant even create a new entry. I hit the plus sign and it prompts you in German? "Abbrechen" and "Fertig" and a date wheel with no option to simply write. If you tour the app, you have to constantly re-enter your password even though you never exited the app. And then youre constantly harrassed with messages about re-showing the tutorial even after you decline the option. Even if it worked, the interface is clumsy and confusing and very unappetizing. DO NOT BOTHER WITH THIS!

After about a day of using this it went into this very strange password loop. It wont accept my password and then I have to get one resent to me and it never remembers and never lets me reset it. An endless loop of copying and pasting temporary passwords to get into the app. When the app was working in the first day and a half it was very good and easy-to-use.

I like the font variety, the flip pages, and that you can write on past unused calendar pages.

I love how you can create your very own diary in English, French, German, Spanish, or Italian. I use French. Please add more cover color choices in the next update. Thanks.

Operation is not as smooth as the interface is pleasant to look at. There is no simple way to make the keyboard disappear. Tapping the plus sign to go to a different date brings you to a scroll wheel where options are in German ("abbrechen" and "fertig"), with no way to change the language setting. Password entry is per diary within the app, not upon launching the app itself. Its nice to look at, but the design wastes space along the edges in order to create the book-like feel. However, it does function without crashing, looks nice, and will get the job done.
